So brothers and sisters, this year has been really a privilege for me because in my birthday on the 17th of August I was preaching and today on my 23rd anniversary I'm also preaching to you. So it's double blessings this year. So I'm I'm I'm so much grateful for what God has done in our lives.
So 20 23 years down and forever to go if you see the the status of uh our Facebook and we are so grateful for what God has done in our life and it's also will be some part of this I will I will also testify brothers and sisters how God has been so good to our family and how we have been holding on to the promises that God has put in our hearts.
So today I will be speaking to you about the encouragement for us to continue to believe in God's promises that he will fulfill the promises that he has given to us. And it could be the promises that we have on the Bible that has been there, right? But could also be the promises that you have received and God has impressed in your hearts.
And each of those are different. And your promises that you have received from God and my promises and our promises might be different here and there. There are promises that God has put in the Bible that are applied to each and every one of us and it the variation thereof is something that is unique to each and every one of you.
So today brothers and sisters we got to believe that God will fulfill his promise. Amen. Now, if you look back to this year, we almost finished this year, two weeks to go, two and a half weeks to go of this week, and if you look back to January 1st this year, and if you basically reflect this year,
how would you see the promises of God that he has given to you is unfailing? How would you feel this year has been? Have you seen that God's promises is unfailing? And have you seen that things are moving towards the promises that God has put in your hearts?
Are there promises that you think like I don't see it. But today, brothers and sisters, I would like to bring the the story of incredible promise for Elizabeth and for Mary where they receive an incredible promise, two incredible promises for each of them.
And we see the two contrast of response. But we see an outstanding outcome when we believe and when we see God is moving inside of those promises.
So today brothers and sisters in whichever state we are in holding on to the promise that God has put in your heart. Be it about your future be it about your health be about something that God has put in your heart. Brothers and sisters, let's holding let's hold the promise and let's continue to believe that God will fulfill.
Okay. All right. It's connected again.
So now as I mentioned to you brothers and sisters I will give this testimony of u of our wedding day and uh these are a few couple of pictures of our wedding day this is AI modified no this is precisely this I even at that time we don't have digital digital camera as yet.
I think digital camera is already in the market but was so very expensive. So this is the printed pictures that I was uh I took from uh from our album and you see how how young and energetic and how handsome and how beautiful we were before, right? And my mom and my parents-in-law were also here.
You see how they were 23 years ago and we still look the same, right? So brothers and sisters, this is this was uh the defining moment, right? So uh the the picture goes from the top left to the right uh bottom and uh that's timewise in maybe a few seconds between its.
So I would like to give you the what's in my heart in this few minutes of that now. So brothers and sisters in those time and uh as I tell you I uh my heart is overflowing at the time when the pastor asked us to kneel down and from that very second until the hands of the pastor was put on my head and my wife's head brothers and sisters I was praying and repeating repeating the words that God has given to me and I'm saying Lord I claim your promise and Lord bless my family.
Lord bless my upcoming children and bless my happy family. Those three things I am asking all the time. That three I don't know how many minutes that was but those three things I rehearse in my heart. I rehearsed and I said I believe I believe I believe and I believe.
And brothers and sisters, those prayers are the prayers I have in my head and the prayers I have in my heart and I'm sure the prayers of my wife as well. Between those very second that we kneel down and our hands join together on the Bible and when the pastors blesses us to unite us together.
Those are the prayers that is in my heart and I said Lord I believe we will be a happy family. Lord I believe that you will bless my happy children and Lord I believe that we will be contributing to the happy church. Amen.
And if I look back 23 years, brothers and sisters, I have seen so many great things that God has put and do through our family. And we believe that there are many more in store because of that prayer and we continue to pray the same thing, brothers and sisters.
So in those situation and this very minutes this was my prayer and I believe that that impact the way we behave because psychologically brothers and sisters while you are praying and when you are repeating your prayer when your heart are telling the prayer and your mind is aligning with your heart and your ears is hearing what God has been put in your heart.
It actually give you an alignment within your soul and body on what God has put in your heart. And brothers and sisters, more and more these days, people are finding out the power of um belief. the power of belief because they find out just like when you are trying to go through a a grass if it is a grass field brothers and sisters if you continuously walking along that uh that same path all the time at the end the path will be created the grass will be basically dead and it will create a connection and they find out in our brain if continuously telling yourself and continuously praying and claiming the word of God and the promises of God, actually your brain will record it and your belief will be stronger and I'm sure at the appointed time God will definitely do it.
And so brothers and sisters, it might take many days, many weeks, many months, and many years as we will see later on the promises for Zachariah and his wife Elizabeth. But it eventually come to fruition. It eventually will be given by God.
And so today, brothers and sisters, I would like each and every one of us before I start the preaching for us to remember again the promises that God has put in your heart. The promises that God has impressed in your heart, the promises that you have been praying for.
Because today God would like to encourage us to continuously believing that at appointed time God is going to fulfill his promise. Amen.
And so this is a beautiful day and I remember 23 years ago how this how this uh this time was and I still feel it inside brothers and sisters emotionally.
So I thank God for what he has done in our family and we are looking forward for many more things in store for us in the coming years and many many years and forever to come.
So now the messages brothers and sisters are you ready?
So let's take a look at Luke chapter one. And I will try to have two contrasts here. On the side of Zachchariah and the side of Mary, they both were visited by the same angel called Gabriel.
And they both was given the promise. However, Zachchariah responded in somewhat different way than Mary. And there is a little consequence to this. Although the outcome when God promised that he will do, he will never deny and he will do it regardless whether you still continue to believe it or not.
Right? So let's take a look. Luke chapter 1 verse 13-4 up here on the screen.
um on the process.
So if you have your Bible with you or if you can uh take a look at your uh iPad or your your Bible app, come with me to Luke chapter 1 verse 13 to 14.
Yeah, you have it. Luke chapter 1 verse 13-4.
I will read.
But the angel said to him, this is when uh when the angel Gabriel is coming and visiting Zechariah.
Do not be afraid, Zachchariah. Your prayer has been heard. Your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son and you are to call him John.
This is John the Baptist. He will be a joy and delight to you and many will rejoice because of his birth.
Now turn with me to Luke chapter 1 verse 30-32.
verse 30-32.
Okay. So here the same angel came and meet Mary.
Now this is around six month apart. So first Gabriel came and see Zechariah and second uh six months later he came and see Mary.
So Luke 1:30-32 and I will read but the angel said to her. So the angel came now to Mary.
Do not be afraid. Mary, you have found favor with God. You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus.
He will be great and will be called the son of most high. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David.
Let's pray. Lord Jesus, thank you, oh Lord, for these verses that we have just read, the promises that angel Gabriel came and brought to Zechariah and also Mary.
Father, may you continue to bless us and give us full concentration today, oh Lord, as we as we listen to your words, that we will be able, Lord, to understand and be able to apply it in our daily life.
Thank you, Father. Holy Spirit anoint us Lord and connect us Lord in Jesus name we pray. Amen. Amen.
Brothers and sisters please take a look at the different colors that I have uh put in the two different verses.
Right. So here is um uh an angel Gabriel came to see Zachchariah and Mary to bring the good news that God is about to fulfill in their life.
Okay? and uh take a look at the structure, take a look at the wordings and we will be also analyzing how the response of the two the messages structured structure- wise is almost the same.
Okay. So the angel came the angel came to meet them to meet them separately in two different places, two different timings.
Zachchariah and Mary, they were both afraid. They were like, "Whoa, an angel."
And we are so lucky that we have angel every Sunday, pastor Angel with us.
And so, brothers and sisters, they were they were afraid because might be something that they are they were doing wrong or something that they they do not expect.
And brothers and sisters, so when the angel came or when you feel overwhelmed or when you feel that the presence of God is with you, expect the great things.
And so here it is. The first thing that the angel said to both of them was that exactly the same word, do not be afraid.
Okay. Do not be afraid.
So when you receive the promises that is inside of you, you probably see, wow, that's too big, God.
And God is saying, do not be afraid.
And probably there is something impossible that you were thinking of, but somehow God impressed in your heart.
You probably need to say, "Lord, should I what should I do?"
But God, the angel is saying, "Do not be afraid."
Okay. So, and then the angel address their name.
Do not be afraid, Mary. Do not be afraid, Zachariah.
Do not be afraid Rehard. Do not be afraid more. Do not be afraid.
God always be very personal.
Yeah. Now same wordings and then the two reason why Gabriel was coming to them.
So after the the word do not be afraid come the reason.
And Gabriel said to Zechariah your prayer has been heard.
And for Mary, it was not a prayer of Mary and she didn't expect that.
She just found favor with God.
Amen. So brothers and sisters, something miraculous may be happening and will be happening to us.
both the prayer that we bring in that we pray and could also be something that God find favor in you that he will grant you far above your expectation.
There was no rec record records about Mary expecting to be the mother of Jesus.
There's no record on a detailed life of Mary before but that but with with all the maximum that we can get and the co the commentary and all others brothers and sisters it is pretty much saying that Mary uh was in a good faithful family.
Right? So here it is.
They both receive something greater.
That one was there been something they've been waiting for maybe fading away for Zachariah.
Your prayer has been heard.
And for Mary, you have found favor with God.
And probably some of the blessing that God has given to you today, you know that it was the favor of God.
Maybe you didn't pray about it and God gave it to you.
Maybe you didn't expect that and God gave it to you.
So there are the two things brothers and sisters.
Those that we are praying for and those something that we didn't pray for but because God found favor in us and we'll see the benefit of you being used by God, he gave it.
Amen.
Now the third one is the promise right?
So the third one in green is the promise for Zachariah said your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son.
So they have been waiting and praying for this promise brothers and sisters so very much they are praying they are faithful servant of God.
They are praying, praying, praying all the time.
And now is the time that God is fulfilling his promise.
It's the same thing the the angel was saying to Mary, you will conceive and give birth to a son.
And that's the promise.
both receive the promise and then the rest the structure will also be the same and you are to call him the the the the angel told them who the name of the sons would be for Zachariah it will be John and for Mary it will be Jesus okay and then what the sons will be doing he will be right he will be a joy and delight lie to you and many will rejoice because of his birth.
And for Mary, he will be great and will be called the son of the most high.
The Lord God will give him the throne of the throne of his father David.
You see the structure brothers and sisters pretty much the same.
You should not be afraid. your prayer is heard or you have found favor in God and there will be a promise and the promise will be done because there will always be reason for the promises on something that you have received.
So if God has been giving you and blessing me so many things that God has given me even the those unexpected blessing there are purpose why God gave it to me.
Amen.
And so is something that Mary has been uh receiving and the angel told her what Jesus supposed to do.
And when you give God's blessing, brothers and sisters, pray to God how those blessing could be a blessing to you and a blessing to others.
And we will also see it further later on how this blessing has been a blessing not only to them but to many others.
Now those are the two promises that was given to Zechariah and Mary.
They receive it.
Now they are going to respond to these messages.
Right? We continue the responses.
This is the two responses that Zachchariah and Mary have given.
One is an unbelief responses.
How could this be?
And Mary was also asking about the same question.
So let's read for Zechariah 18 uh Luke 1 verse 18.
This is the respond of Zechariah.
Zechariah asked the angel.
How can I be sure of this?
And he made a statement.
I am an old man and my wife is well along in years.
Maybe they pass already the childbearing age.
And so in this case, brothers and sisters, he was thinking like how could this be possible?
Zachchariah must have known the story of Abraham before, right?
Similar story.
Abraham was visited by the angel and the angel said you are going to have a child and they were already very advanced in age 10090 and at that time Sara was loving right and so here in this case brothers and sisters Zachchariah was in doubt how could this be
Mary on the other hand was also asking the angel he she said in Luke 1:34 how will this be one is asking how can I be sure of this and the other one is asking how will this be Mary asked since I'm a virgin she's confused she's confused She's saying this is impossible and and then the angel knows in their heart.
And if you look at Hebrews chapter 1 verse chapter 11 verse one, what is faith?
Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance.
Assurance about what we do not see.
Assurance is the sure thing.
When things is sure, this is where the assurance come from.
Right?
So he said, "How can I be sure of this?"
Zachchariah is putting his doubt on the messages that come from God.
Mary is confused.
He's not doubting.
He's confused.
How could this be possible?
Right?
But then the angel respond to their res to to to their eyes.
And now you will be silent.
Zachariah was silent by the angel.
He could not talk from that moment on until his son was born and not able to speak until the day this happens because you did not believe my words which will come true at the appointed time.
Now I'm asking myself and I also read commentary brothers and sisters on why should the why should the the angel make him silent?
It could be something else, right?
But the angel caused him to silence.
And I believe, brothers and sisters, when there is doubt and when there is unbelief inside of us for the promises that God has given to us, we got to silence that unbelief.
Because imagine if he continued to speak Right?
Zechariah maybe is going to his wife and continue to rehearse and say about this unbelief.
We are already old.
This this can't be possible.
Or probably when he's going out he's telling the others there's a promise like this and I'm hearing this and I'm see the angel but how could that be?
Maybe he continued to tell around about his unbelief.
We don't know.
But the fact that the angel silenced him, he could not then later on tell what his unbelief was until he see the promise come.
Amen.
Maybe this is also the time for us brothers and sisters if we have a promise that God has given to our heart and we hold on to it and we are praying to about it and maybe once in a while those things come to our head and said how could that be your prayer is too big you are asking too much you are not able to do this look at you and brothers and sisters this is the time that we continue to silent.
There's doubt and unbelief and see how God is working and moving forward to fulfill the promises he has given to us.
This could be for a person, this could be for your work, this could be for your family, for your brothers, for your sisters, whoever that is.
Brothers and sisters, this is the time for us to silence our unbelief.
Amen.
And we continue as a church and we have a bigger vision that we would like to see growing brothers and sisters.
And we are praying for many more people to come and worship God.
We are praying for at one appointed time that God will give us a building where we can own.
We can have a service.
We don't need to dismantle things anymore.
But we have a place that we just need to switch on the things and it will work.
Amen.
Now, so brothers and sisters, let's silence those doubt.
Let's silence those unbelief that is in our heart.
Let's silent those things that hinder us and pulling us from the great work that God has in store for us.
And now on Mary, brothers and sisters, the angel answered because she was confused.
How could this be?
The angel answered, the Holy Spirit will come on you and the power of the most high will oversight you.
So the Holy One to be born will be called the Son of God.
Wow.
What an incredible, incredible promise.
And I cannot imagine how overwhelmed Mary was at that time.
We shall ask her how she felt at that time when we were in heaven.
Right?
So imagine then when you are praying, God is putting in your heart a great things.
Have you ever experienced that brothers and sisters?
You didn't think of praying that prayer and God put it in your heart and your mind.
Even when you are meditating or maybe when you are singing a song and the song is so powerful captivating your heart and your mind when you worship God is putting you into your heart a bigger things that you never thought of before.
I don't know what it is but I am sure brothers and sisters those are the things that God has been asking us to do.
And brothers and sisters on this very part, I remember um many years ago when when uh at that time sister Ching and pastor late pastor Sunonny was praying for me and asking me to consider preaching and uh you have heard many times maybe some of my testimony I was just saying I'm not made for this.
and uh and uh and we are praying at at home with my wife but I am I'm not so much into it.
I like teaching when I'm uh uh in my work or when I'm going to university.
I like interacting with people and teaching but preaching is something that I'm I'm not prepared for at that time.
first because I I've never been in the Bible college and then and second I just thought that I'm not worthy of standing here and so brothers and sisters um I'm not seriously praying at the time but I thought that I can push it for back and uh and basically sister Ching was asking more and then two years more and then uh afterward I thought like Well, they keep on asking me.
I thought they will forget when I'm trying to push back.
And so there will be time when my wife and I when we were praying and God has impressed that in our hearts in the beginning I try to uh I try to doubt it whether it is really God's call and there will be time that God has really impressed and overwhelmed me with his his uh his peace that is in my heart and I surrender.
If that is your will, God, bless me that.
Amen.
And so I respond to that, brothers and sisters, because at that time I my question would be how could that be?
I didn't go to Bible college, but I am getting hungry.
Every time I uh I am preparing words brothers and sisters I would like to know more and I'm looking at the and many books I bought and I learn and I follow courses and I join some courses that was given from our church and um and I see that my faith is growing and so before I share this with you I have been blessed and fully blessed in preparing these words.
So it's not only that I give it to you brothers and sisters when I respond I am filled first I am blessed first because you cannot share what you do not have.
Amen.
So when God is asking and giving you those things that he put in your heart, that will be an opportunity for you to see how God is working and will be blessing others because the two promises son here is going to be great things and they are going to bless the people around them and those are the reason why you and I are here today.
And so, brothers and sisters, Mary closed with this humble commitment and willing obedience.
She said, "I am Lord servant."
Mary answered, "May your word to me be fulfilled.
May your word to me be fulfilled."
When you have those prayer in your hearts, let's say, "May your words.
May the promises that you have impressed in my heart be fulfilled.
Amen.
If this year you have been praying for those, let's continue to pray for those prayers because we will then seal it saying may the words and may the promises that you have put in my heart be fulfilled.
This is a model of humble commitment and willing obedience.
Now let's turn to Mary and Elizabeth.
And so brothers and sisters, of course the at that time uh the angel when when he came Gabriel came to Mary.
This is then six months after the promises was fulfilled towards Zachchariah and Elizabeth as conceived.
Yeah.
So verse 36, Luke 1 verse 36, even this is the words of Gabriel towards uh towards Mary at that time even Elizabeth your relative.
So in other translation this is the cousins the cousin of um of Mary your relatives is going to have a child in her old age and she who was said to be unable to conceive is in her sixth month.
And so six months later Mary received these messages.
She probably didn't know at that time.
She didn't know.
Mary didn't know that Elizabeth has conceived.
Because in the in the verses preceding this, brothers and sisters, when Elizabeth conceived, she is trying to hide herself.
Maybe there are some commentary was saying maybe you know um she would like to make sure that the baby is growing and it is also common here before 12 months you don't announce your pregnancy right so maybe that was uh maybe that was the uh the culture at the time we don't know but she tried to hide herself and imagine if this would have been Elizabeth in this current day and age brothers and sisters where we have social media telephone and all others.
How would actually Mary respond after Mary have heard?
She knew he she know Mary knew that Elizabeth was not able to conceive.
But Gabriel was telling your relative, your cousin Elizabeth is not pregnant for six months after a very long time of waiting now.
So brothers and sisters, imagine if this would have been this year, this time, you know, how would Mary be responding?
She would probably, let's come out our imagination now.
She would probably pick up the mobile phone and call Mary.
How come didn't you tell me that very good news?
Right?
Or maybe she will be telling something else.
But we will read later on what Mary did.
And because of that, she knew that Elizabeth was barren and she was already 6 months pregnant.
She didn't know that.
She didn't know that.
So at that time, verse 39, at that time Mary got ready and hurried to a town in the hill country of Judea.
she would like to see Elizabeth right and when where she entered Zachchariah's home and greet Elizabeth and then all the things uh later on we will see so she was hurrying what do you think is her intention hurrying to see Elizabeth if there would have been phone at that time she would immediately call Elizabeth I can sure I can be very sure about that.
And that's why she was hurrying.
She want to see Elizabeth.
She want to see the fulfillment of the promises that was given to her.
She knew that she was not able to conceive for very long time until her old age.
And now the promises is fulfilled.
She want to see again the fulfillment of promises that the angel was telling her.
Now and then brothers and sisters Mary stayed with Elizabeth for about three months and then return home at that three months.
So that could be six months before and then three months.
So she is either before uh John was born or just after John is born because the total time is nine months.
So that is a period of a baby to uh to be conceived and also then uh given birth on.
So brothers and sisters, they are sharing their joy.
They're sharing the B promises that they receive.
And when God is fulfilling your promises, are you sharing it to others as well?
Tell them.
Tell them that this was God who made this all possible.
That's why I always like to invite you to come forward and share God good news because this then you are telling that it was God who are working in you.
This is what these two ladies are doing.
They are telling each other that it was not possible and it was almost impossible and God has fulfilled your promise.
They're sharing the joy.
Are you sharing your joy?
And I encourage you brothers and sisters share your joy.
And we will close with this.
Mary and Elizabeth afterwards after Mary came then in Luke 1:41-45.
Then Elizabeth heard Mary's greeting.
Maybe when she came home, she was saying shalom or she was greeting something else and the baby lived in her womb in Elizabeth womb and Elizabeth has was filled with the Holy Spirit and at that time Mary has not tell her anything yet, right?
And in a loud voice, Elizabeth is claiming, "Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the child you will bear."
So see, Mary received the second double confirmation of the blessing.
And then they are blessing each other, right?
Because Mary was highly favored.
And then Elizabeth was also feeling so favored because he said, "Why am I so favored that the mother of my Lord succumbed to me?
As soon as the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby in my womb leaped for joy."
And she said, "Blessed is he who has believed that the Lord will fulfill his promises to her.
She is blessing Mary.
Elizabeth blesses Mary."
And now brothers and sisters, when you are blessed by someone's presence, will you bless them back?
When you are blessed and helped by somebody else, would you help and bless them back?
When you are given a blessing or something that you receive from others, will you bless them back?
And in this case, Mary and Elizabeth blesses each other.
Mary came to receive and see the promises that God has fulfilled in their life and she sees it.
And then Elizabeth also blesses her.
She found favor.
So probably brothers and sisters, you know that your friend doesn't have time but they make time to visit you.
You probably know that your friends are not having so much in them but they bring you presents.
Maybe you know that your friend doesn't have enough time but they bring you something you like.
They cook for you or they invite you or do something else.
Brothers and sisters, bless them as well.
Just like how Elizabeth blesses Mary.
And one thing I am so sure about this because Mary believed in the promises that was given to her.
And in her heart, she believed in the promises that Gabriel and God has put in her heart.
And then Elizabeth strengthened it again.
And she said, "Blessed is he.
Blessed is she.
Blessed are you.
Blessed are all of us, brothers and sisters, who believe that the Lord will fulfill his promises to us."
Amen.
We are blessed as we believe.
Can you imagine that?
And so I would like today, brothers and sisters, to come together again corporately as a church that we will be able to say, Lord, I bring the promises that you have put in my heart today and I claim the promises that you have put in my heart today.
Maybe this is something impossible.
Maybe it's somebody who you would like to see be happy.
Maybe for your siblings, for your son, for your daughter, for your parents, for the people around you.
I don't know what it is brothers and sisters but this vibe of Christmas these seasons of Christmas these seasons of promises the seasons of happiness.
I would like to challenge in each and every one of you.
The Bible said blessed is he who believe that God will promise will fulfill his promises to you.
Now, will you believe those promises?
Amen.
Will you believe those promises that God has put in your heart?
And you will be blessed.
Whatever it is, brothers and sisters, the Bible said and the angel said, "Do not be afraid."
Do not be afraid.
Embrace it because we know that our God is a great God.
is a big God and he will do mightily amazingly that we'll never thought of imagine.
Amen.
Vote on the prayers that you are praying for or something that you never thought of before but God find favor in you.
Use them all to glorify God.
Amen.
Hallelujah.
Do you receive it today?
Hallelujah.
Hallelujah.
Let's bow down our head and pray.
I'll invite the music team to come forward.
Hallelujah.
Thank you, Jesus.
Thank you, Jesus.
Thank you, Lord.
We glorify your name, oh Lord.
Father, I pray may you strengthen the faith of our brothers and sisters, all of us here in this place, of the promises that you have given to us.
And father we will declare that we will not be afraid.
And father we will declare oh lord even though that the prayer that we have been praying for or the promises that you have impressed in our heart oh lord has been there for a while that we have been waiting we are not afraid because at the appointed time we will see you working and amazingly lord you will do the promises that you have given to us.
Father, I pray that may you touch every heart and our mind.
And Father, we would like to reaffirm again the promises that you have given to us whatever it is Lord that you impress in our hearts.
Be about our future.
Be about our family.
Lord, be about our work.
Be about our surroundings.
Be about our close friends, our siblings, sons and daughter.
Even just sounds too big for us.
Father, we would like to claim now and we will not be afraid.
And Lord, as you said, blessed are those who believe that God will fulfill his promises.
And father today at this very time bless each and every one of us.
And father we declare that we believe in your promise.
Father we declare that you will do mightily Lord at the appointed time your promises towards us.
Thank you father.
Thank you Lord.
We bring these promises oh Lord with us and we know and we will testify and we'll tell the world once you are we will see those promises come to pass and we will remember this time again Lord we are
Take-aways
- God's promises are unfailing, and He will fulfill them at the appointed time.
- We should not be afraid to receive God's promises, even if they seem impossible.
- We should silence our unbelief and doubts, and trust that God will work and move forward to fulfill His promises.
- We should share our joy and the fulfillment of God's promises with others, and bless those who have blessed us.
- We should believe in God's promises and trust that He will do mightily and amazingly, even if we don't see it yet.
