WORD International Ministries Netherlands (WIN-NL) is a Christian Church in Utrecht and Schiedam. It is a predominantly Filipino church with Dutch, Indonesian, Malay, Indian and many other nationalities. Our regular English is open to all and held every Sunday at our two locations.
The WORD for every life, His Word for every heart.
OUR MISSION
The heart of the WORD International Ministries is the adoption of a global strategy for church planting and leadership development to fulfill its commitment to the Great Commission of Jesus Christ. To bring unsaved and nominal Christians to a saving knowledge of Christ and to train national leaders to proclaim the Gospel to their own people and to other nations.
OUR VISION
We will thrust into the world as a Biblically sharpened and potent Spirit-filled force winning souls, planting and building communities of discipled believers equipped to preach the Gospel through transformed lives.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
We are an international community of churches bound as one by a covenant to evangelize the world and fulfill the Great Commission through the power of the Holy Spirit, the love that flows from His Son Jesus Christ and the fellowship of the believers.
Through this ministry we build communities of families where lives, regardless of their origin or status, are drawn and transformed to reflect the image of Jesus Christ, and to shine like stars in a dark world for the glory of God.
For this we lay our lives, for this we bear the torch that lights a path for the generations to follow until our Lord Jesus comes.
We believe:
-
that the Bible is the inspired Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16).
-
in one God revealed in three Persons, namely, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit (1 John 5:7 and John 14:9 and John 14:26, Revelations 3:21).
-
that Jesus Christ is God’s only Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary. That Jesus was crucified, buried and raised from the dead. That He ascended to heaven and is today at God’s right hand praying on our behalf (Matthew, Mark, Luke, John).
-
that all people have sinned and come short of the glory of God, and that repentance is commanded by God and is necessary for forgiveness of sin (Romans 3:23).
-
that salvation is received by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8-10).
-
in being made holy through faith in the blood of Christ, through the Word, and by the Holy Spirit (Heb 10:8-10, 2 Cor 7:14, Jer 31:34).
-
that God expects all believers to live a life of holiness (Eph 2:8-10, {bib=1 Cor 10:31-33).
-
in being empowered by and filled with the Holy Spirit subsequent to a clean heart (Eph 3:14-19, Acts 1:8, Mat 3:11).
-
in exercising spiritual gifts for the edification of the Body of Christ (1 Cor. 12:4-11).
-
in water baptism by immersion, and all who repent should be baptized in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit (Mark 16:16, Rom. 6:3-4, Col. 2:12, 1 Peter 3:20-21).
-
that divine healing is provided for all through the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ (Mat 26:28).
-
in observing the Lord’s Supper (Mat 26:26-29, 1 Cor 11:20-29) and washing of the saint’s feet (John 13:1-17).
-
in the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ (1 Thess. 4:16-17, Mat 25:31, Rev 19:11-16, John 14:28).
-
in the bodily resurrection (1 Cor. 15:20-22); eternal life for the righteous, and eternal punishment for the wicked (Matthew 25:40-46).
